COMMUNICATION &  MANAGEMENT

• Conduct initial client interviews to determine project needs.

• Lead client presentations and meetings.

• Manage client communications.

• Oversee tasks, deadline completion, and provide feedback when appropriate.

• Produce design decks, sketches, graphics & renderings to convey design options & design intent.

• Create 3D models in Revit, Sketchup, Rhino and Lumion for walkthrough videos and renderings.

• Select materials for interior and exterior architectural finishes and research installation recommendations.

• Select FF&E items based on a given budget and design direction for approval by the client.

 

DOCUMENTATION

• Outline and draft or model construction documents (CDs). 

• Review CDs to ensure compliance with firm standards, mechanical, building systems, appropriate codes & ADA requirements. 

• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and marketing teams to produce a cohesive design.

 

CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION

• Create and share design documents with potential contractors to bid on the project;  answer GC questions.

• Oversee projects through the construction administration phase.

• Ensure adherence to budget through CA phase and troubleshoot issues with the team should they arise.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

• Design booklets, brochures, pamphlets, flyers, physical signage, websites, etc.

• Conceptualize and produce graphics, social media/ blog posts, logos, diagrams, illustrations, labels, layouts storyboards, renderings, etc.

 

FABRICATION

• Create cut and model files for CNC, 3D printer, laser cutter, waterjet, foam cutter

• Perform simple woodworking and metal casting/ finishing
